The following letter went out to GBC customers in their April kits:
Thank you so much for being part of my obsession! As a member of the Go. Be Creative. kit club you have helped make our community a truly special one. Over the past few years we have experienced incredible success and our business is stronger than ever and still growing!
Because we have so many subscribers who count on us to deliver the highest level of scrapbooking products available in a convenient and beautiful kit, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce that we are drawing this part of our company to a close. As sad as it is for us to bid farewell to our monthly kit club it is also extremely exciting as we are now poised to take our company to a whole new level. We have so much in store for you that it would be impossible for us to list it all here and still do it justice.
To give
you a little taste of the things to come take a look:
- First and foremost, our message board,
the heart and soul of our community, will remain as lively and vigorous as
ever! The chit chat, swaps and group buys will continue on!
- Idea sharing and “scraplifting” will
continue on our Flickr group.
- You’ll still be able to find prizes and
inspiration on the blog (http://laineysalteredego.typepad.com)
- We are introducing new and exciting
challenges listed regularly that will award not only bragging rights but
also some great prizes.
- And one of the newest and most exciting
things that we will be introducing in the upcoming weeks is our very own
series of free online classes, many of which will be accompanied by kit
purchasing opportunities.
While this is only a small sampling of what Go. Be Creative. is now able to offer, rest assured that as we continue to expand and gain more and more community members we will not forgot all of you who gave us our start!
So, enough reading, Come, grow with us and Go. Be Creative.
{xoxo}

"SELF
To preface my choice i want to say i have been a single parent for 23 years and have recently become an empty nester. While coming to grips with this i realized i'd lost myself while being mom, dad, granny, provider, friend, dance leader, driver ,chaperone etc. etc. etc.the last couple of months i've been thinking of redefining ME. so for 2009 my word is SELF.who am i? what do i like? what would i like to do? where would i like to go? you get the idea. now i have to go call my daughter.this is not easy."
this was my blog entry for jan.2,2009. i have begun making a chipboard journal to document my rebirth so to speak. a place where i can write about my journey to redefine me.
thankyou for the giveaway, ms.cheryl
