Yo Altered Ego readers, Tam, I am here straight from somewhere in Oklahoma. I am pretty positive, no 99.9% positive, that all you scrapbookers reading this have boxes and boxes of old pictures that are just waiting to grace one of your scrapbook layouts or even a mini album. Dust off those boxes of old pictures, sort through them, and pull out those long lost memories and get them on some pages!
Now first I want to give you my definition of an "old picture". I am not talking heritage pictures of your great great grandma and her siblings playing out in front of a one room school. Old pictures to me are pictures that are older than one year, yes ONE year. Heck we could even go as far back as 6 months, but we will keep it to the one year mark.
I have boxes and boxes of these little jewels. Some are yellowing, some are torn, some are faded, some are crisp and bright just as they were when I brought them home from the photo processing place.
Now I am not sure what your stand is on scrapping original pictures, I know that my stand is some I do, some I don't, more so I do scrap originals. However, those really really old (aka Heritage) photos or those that have faded or yellowed, I scan them and do some photoshopping magic. I will leave that up to you.
Since this is our first week playing timeless tuesday, my challenge for you is anything goes as long as the picture or pictures are over a year old.
This layout is of my wonderful husband and partner in crime, Chris when he was a wee little lad. Isn't he just the cutest. Kinda looks like the Campbell's Soup kid huh?
So - let's see what you can dig out, dust off, and get on a page!
